DayGLOW Pays a Visit to New Jersey’s Montessori Children’s Academy

What an absolute pleasure it was to arrive last week at the Montessori Children's Academy to the sweet, smiling faces of such young learners! We can imagine no better way to start the day than to spend some quality time working with these enthusiastic students on the merits of percussion instrumentation...not to mention the sheer delight in witnessing teamwork, group participation, and unity. It's never too early (or too late) for such rewarding lessons!!

Our visit came off the heels of a surprise performance by the Zac Brown Band at the 2016 Robin Hood Benefit, hosted on behalf of its namesake organization which has raised over $2 billion to find and create the most effective programs to help struggling, impoverished New Yorkers. An inspiring endeavor in and of itself, this was a great opportunity to learn more about outreach in other areas of the country.

Little by little, we move mountains and our humble work at DayGLOW Music is just one of countless ways that people nationwide are giving back. The people are out there; the organizations operating en masse. Collectively, we need to get past the feeds of negativity and see all of the good in the world. Once you see it, you'll be compelled to join in...that's a guarantee!

In the meantime, we'll keep doing what we do in enveloping percussion instrumentation and education in compassion, empathy, teamwork, and an inclusionary approach to instilling a sense of harmony in our future generations. Go, team DayGLOW!
